We want you to feel confident subscribing to Vela. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.
1. Free Audit
The free AI visibility audit is available at no charge. No payment is required and no refund is applicable for the free tier.
2. Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscription fees are billed in advance at the start of each billing cycle. Due to immediate access to digital content upon payment:
- Monthly fees are non-refundable once the billing period has started
- You retain full access until the end of the current billing period after cancellation
- No partial refunds are issued for unused days within a billing period
We encourage you to take full advantage of the free audit before upgrading.
3. Annual Subscriptions
Within 30 days of purchase: Full refund available if you have not downloaded more than one PDF report and have not used the quarterly strategy call. Contact us within 30 days of purchase.
After 30 days: No refunds are available after the 30-day window. You retain access for the remainder of your annual term.
Prorated refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for partial year cancellations outside the 30-day window.
4. Exceptions — When We Will Issue a Refund
Regardless of the above, we will issue a full refund if:
- You were charged in error due to a technical failure or duplicate billing
- The service was completely unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to issues on our end
- You were charged after cancelling your subscription before cancellation took effect
5. How to Request a Refund
Email contact@purelyvela.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- The email address associated with your account
- Your subscription plan and billing date
- The reason for your refund request
We respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds process within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.
6. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. We encourage you to contact us directly — we resolve billing issues fairly and quickly.
7. Plan Changes
Upgrades mid-cycle are charged the prorated difference for the remainder of the billing period. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period with no refund for the price difference in the current period.
