- Enrollment information: Details provided when you enroll in the cohort, join the alumni community, or purchase a re-audit
- Payment information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe — we do not store your full card number
- Program participation: Your activity within the cohort curriculum, call attendance, and any work or questions you share
- Communications: Any messages you send us via email or support channels
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, and navigation patterns
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, device type, and screen resolution
- IP address and approximate location
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies as described in Section 5
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Generate and deliver your free Vela Score
- Send you our educational email sequence and program information
- Deliver the cohort program, alumni community, and re-audits you purchase
- Process payments and manage your enrollment or membership

- Analyze usage patterns to improve our product and curriculum
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information to serve you third-party advertisements.
3. How We Share Your Information
- Service providers: Stripe (payments), Loops (email), and our curriculum, scheduling, and hosting tools — each contractually or operationally bound to protect your data and use it only to provide their service to us
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or court order
- Business transfers: If Vela is acquired, your information may be transferred — we will notify you before this occurs
- With your consent: We may share information in other ways with your explicit permission
4. Data Retention
We retain your contact and program information for as long as you are an active subscriber, participant, or lead. If you cancel a membership or ask to be removed, we retain your data for up to 90 days before permanent deletion, except where longer retention is required for legal or accounting purposes.
5. Cookies
Vela uses cookies to operate the website, remember preferences, and analyze usage. Essential cookies are required for the service to function. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable, industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of sale. 10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before changes take effect.
